How is Maxim Healthcare Services structured?
While there are many divisions within Maxim, there are two primary divisions: Maxim Staffing Solutions and Maxim Healthcare Services. The facility staffing division, Maxim Staffing Solutions, recruits and staffs for nursing jobs, allied health jobs, travel nursing jobs, physicians, government jobs, health information services jobs, and medical administration jobs, among others. Our complete package of staffing services allows our clients to enjoy one point-of-contact for all of their facility needs. The Maxim Healthcare Services division has two main focuses: homecare and wellness. Our homecare division extends beyond basic nursing care. Through our specialized divisions, the Maxim family accommodates a variety of clinical needs by placing qualified health professionals in home healthcare jobs. We work with families in need of home healthcare assistance or companion services to find qualified nurses and caregivers for themselves or their loved ones. Our wellness division, Maxim Health Systems, offers flu clinics, wellness screenings, travel immunizations, and other wellness education services nationwide.
What is the difference between homecare and facility jobs?
Home healthcare jobs offer opportunities to work in the home of a patient who may need your assistance. Our services are designed to ensure continuity of care in the comforting surroundings of home and can include clients with a chronic condition, recovering from illness, or simply in need of daily assistance. Facility jobs are those jobs in a medical environment that is not considered a home. Medical environments range from hospitals to Physician offices to schools or industrial settings.
Are jobs at Maxim posted to internal employees?
Maxim realizes the value of internally promoting and transferring employees between departments. It is the policy of Maxim to provide an opportunity for employees to apply for open positions within the company. However, in certain situations, some jobs may not be posted internally. The objective of the Internal Job Posting Program is to provide Maxim employees the opportunity to apply for desired internal positions.
What is Maxim’s policy regarding workers’ compensation, and how do I file a claim should an incident occur?
Maxim Healthcare Services currently contracts with Broadspire, a Third Party Administrator (TPA) to handle our workers' compensation claims. Only when a claim is reported to TelePlus, will Broadspire begin an immediate investigation into the merits of the claim. A claim number is then generated for bill payment and prescription services. The Corporate Workers’ Compensation Department monitors and controls our TPA. We do not process any payments for invoices or wage loss in Corporate. The entire program is paid and handled through Broadspire.
